117 Centre is where Thatch’s co-living concept was born. Purchased in 2015, Thatch’s sister company, BREC, went through a historic rehabilitation of this house to restore the interior and exterior details from the past. The National Park Service and Mass Historical Commission were instrumental in making this project happen, through the awarding of State and Federal historic tax credits. The generous floor plans of this house lend itself to privacy within each home. Most of the bedrooms in this home have their own private bath, a unique amenities for homes in Boston. Adjacent to the home is the original carriage house, which has carefully been converted to an additional home.
