What To Know About Boston’s Christmas Markets

In November and December, you will start to see several holiday markets pop up around the city. These markets are an ideal place to find a gift or spend time soaking up the holiday and winter charm. This is a beautiful thing to do in Boston with your family and children. 

Some of the more popular markets include Snowport. This is a European style that runs from November until the end of the year in Boston’s Seaport. There are more than 100 booths selling arts, crafts, seasonal treats, beer, and more from more than 15 food vendors. If you go, seek out the tree market, a holiday-themed bar, and the Mistletoe Arch.

The biggest market during the holiday season is the SoWa Winter Festival & Holiday Market. The market runs from Nov. 24 – Dec. 17, located in Boston’s South End. More than 100 vendors gather here, and be sure to take your children to the outdoor winter wonderland at night to see the Trail of Lights and visit the many food trucks.

What To Know About The Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics have been the city’s NBA team since the 1940s. The NBA season starts near the end of October and ends in April. They play home games in TD Garden, or “The Garden.” Even if you miss a game while you are in the city, it’s worth it to see the arena up close and revel in the team’s storied history.
