The building that houses Quarters on Broadway™ is most famous for being a former hang-out of the infamous Whitey Bulger. Fortunately, those days are behind us, but Whitey hung out in what is now the Fox & Knife restaurant on the ground floor. Upstairs, there isn’t much history to speak of, but this building is where the Thatch Quarters concept was born. In collaboration with a local developer, Thatch re-designed the upper floors specifically for the Quarters concept, which has been a great success in Boston since it opened in 2015.
