Terra is a ground-up construction collaboration between Thatch and our sister company, Boston Real Estate Collaborative. Completed in January of 2023, Terra is one of the first and only of its kind in Boston. It is built using mass timber construction, a highly sustainable and architecturally unique form of construction. Mass timber has a very low carbon footprint and provides many thermal efficiencies to the building that make it very comfortable to live in year-round. In addition, Terra was built to meet Passive House standards, which provides high quality air and indoor environments, energy efficient systems and low energy needs overall.
